The City and County of Broomfield is a prominent suburb and tier of the Denver metropolitan area in the State of Colorado of the United States. The municipality of Broomfield was incorporated in 1961 in the southeastern corner of Boulder County. 2016 U.S. Census population: 66,529.
History
It received its name from the broomcorn grown in the area.
